Accounting Manager (posted November 13, 2009)

DESCRIPTION: Under minimum supervision, performs accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accounting functions according to established procedures or as directed by the Accounting Manager. Has access to all financial statements, including profit and loss statements and all supporting data.
JOB FUNCTIONS: Accounts Receivable including Billing Clients, Accounts Payable recording vendor invoices and processing payments, Multiple Bank reconciliations and record keeping for 4 companies, Extensive use of spreadsheets to record and track payments, and ADP payroll for 50+ employees.
REQUIREMENTS: Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, at least 4 years of continuous experience as a Bookkeeper, and at least 2 years completed of coursework in Finance or Accounting at either a junior college or a proprietary school that specializes in business administration.
